The Autorité de protection des données, or Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, is the Belgian Data Protection Authority (ADP).

The Belgian Data Protection Authority is the responsible data protection authority in Belgium. Their objective is to provide guidance and advice as well as deal with complaints and make inspections regarding data protection. It is an independent body that was established on 3 December 2017.

The Belgian Data Protection Authority is the successor to the former Privacy Commission, Privacycommissie or Commission de la protection de la vie privée.
