The Datenschutz behörde is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (DSB).

The Austrian Data Protection Authority is the responsible authority for data protection in Austria. Their objective is to provide guidance and advice as well as deal with complaints and make inspections regarding data protection.

Austria was one of the first EU member states to establish an authority for data protection. They established the Data Protection Commission (Datenschutzkommission) in 1978. The Austrian Data Protection Authority is its successor.
